Villanova Football Season Countdown: 31 is For Joe Marcoux

Kicker: 2005-2008

In his four year career on the Main Line, Joe Marcoux went from an inconsistent kicker with a strong leg, to one of the greatest kickers in Villanova history, which isn't bad for a player who was looked ostracised by his high school teammates at Don Bosco Prep for playing at a I-AA school. Marcoux holds the school record for extra point attempts and conversions with nine in both categories, and ranks as fourth in school history in career points. Added to his career statistics is the fact that he was the first Villanova player to donate bone marrow, which is notable all by itself.
