Villanova baseball gets two players drafted

Despite their futility, the Villanova baseball team saw two of their players drafted in the 2013 MLB Draft, with pitcher Pat Young going to the Giants in the 13th round, and shortstop Tyler Sciacca going to the Cubs in the 27th round. Now, neither of these are particularly early selections, but Villanova gets a lot of players drafted for a school that is so consistently bad at baseball. How does that work?

  1. How does it work, you ask? Probably the same way people read, despite its futility, your blog. Young was drafted by the SF Giants, and not the Cubs.
